AURO Special Primer No. 117

General Information: This special primer is the ideal preparation for substance-rich wood before applying water-based AURO products. It prevents discolorations from bleeding through the wood surface, leading to a clean and professional finish. If necessary, stir the product with a paint stirrer.

Ingredients:

Orange terpenes
Linseed oil
Colophony glycerine esters with organic acids
Silicic acid
Swelling clays
Drying agents (cobalt-free)
Sunflower oil
Castor oil
Hardened castor oil
Lecithin
Alcohol

Application: The AURO Special Primer No. 117 should be applied quickly, generously, and evenly to create a uniformly glossy layer after drying. If needed, the treatment can be repeated. After 24 hours or once completely dry, lightly sand the surface with a beige pad or fine sanding fleece (do not sand through!) to prepare it for the final coat, for example with AURO glaze or varnish.

Consumption:

0.08 l/m² per coat, varies depending on the substrate, application method, and surface quality. Determine the exact consumption through a test coat.

Tools & Accessories: After application, spread the work tools well and clean them with AURO Thinner No. 191.

Coverage:

0.375 l container: Coverage approximately 5 m²
0.75 l container: Coverage approximately 9 m²
2.5 l container: Coverage approximately 31 m²
