Our adhesive and embedding mortar is the ideal solution for demanding construction projects. Specifically designed as an adhesion bridge for clay plaster on concrete and as an adhesive and mesh-embedding mortar for steam-expanded cork panels, this product stands out for its versatility and excellent adhesion properties.

Composition and Properties

This fiber-reinforced, cement-based dry mortar contains limestone sand (0 to 0.8 mm) and processing-enhancing additives. It provides an elastic, fiber-reinforced plaster base with outstanding adhesion and high compressive strength (CS III). With a fresh mortar weight of 1,530 g/l and a hardened mortar bulk density of 1,330 g/l, it offers a solid foundation for subsequent layers.

Application

The adhesive and embedding mortar is perfect for preparing concrete surfaces for clay plaster or as an adhesive for steam-expanded cork panels. The substrate must be free of dust and dirt; old dispersion-based layers should be cleaned and roughened. Simply mix a 25 kg sack with approximately 7 liters of water, let it rest for 5 minutes, stir again, and apply quickly using a 10 mm notched trowel. Once the combed layer has dried, clay plaster can be applied.

Processing and Delivery

Processing time is 1.5 to 2 hours at temperatures between 5 °C and 25 °C. The mortar is supplied in moisture-protected 25 kg paper sacks. One sack yields about 21 liters of fresh mortar, sufficient for approximately 5 m² at a 10 mm application thickness.

Mixing with other materials is not permitted to ensure quality and adhesion.
